One of my friend, who bought a new tracksuit just a few days before the new year 2019. His weight was about 90kg at that time. He told me that he wanted to reduce his weight from 90 to 60kg in January 2019.
I told him that such fast weight loss is not recommended and he may fell into some health issues. But he was highly motivated and sure of reducing this weight in a month.
On 1st Jan, he went to the gym. It was so populated that He couldn't find the parking. After some search and wait, he parked his car.
He steps inside the gym and wanted to do a treadmill. To his surprise, all the gym machines were taken. He felt bad as he already paid the hefty gym fees a few days back but he couldn't use the services.
He went to the gym manager and complaint about this. gym manager seems aware of the problem and he told him that the gym is run by the people who never came here. After that struggle with parking and gym waiting, he never went there. and at the end of Jan, my friend weight is 91kg.
He did not take any steps to reduce his weight after that. but for me, he failed on the first step and that was planning.
He failed to plan as he wanted to reduce 30kg in a month. He should have taken baby steps to reduce his weight.
